THIS IS A SMALL DRESSING TABLE, CABINET BELOW WITH A DRAWER ABOVE. GOOD QUALITY, SOLID WOOD, IT LOOKS TO BE MADE FROM ASH OR CHESTNUT. IT IS STRONG AND STURDY. MIRROR ABOVE. THERE IS A DROP LEAF ON THE SIDE WHICH WILL LIFT UP AND GIVE A WIDER TOP SECTION.
NO MAKERS NAME, PROBABLY MADE BY MAPLES OR SIMILAR.
THIS LOOKS OK AS IT IS, BUT COULD EASILY BE STRIPPED OR PAINTED. PLEASE SEEK ADVICE BEFORE STRIPPING OLD PAINT AND USE THE CORRECT SAFETY EQUIPMENT. IT WOULD LOOK GREAT PAINTED IN A CONTEMPORY COLOUR TO GIVE IT A STYLISH NEW LOOK. IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT TALL FURNITURE SHOULD BE SAFELY SECURED TO THE WALL WITH SCREWS / BRACKETS FOR SAFETY.
