THIS IS A LARGE CHEST OF DRAWERS FROM THE LATE VICTORIAN PERIOD. IT HAS DRAWERS WITH BRASS HANDLES. MAHOGANY (SOLID & VENEER). IT SITS ON A BASE.
THERE IS SOME WEAR, SCUFFS, SCRATCHES. THE SIDE PANELS ARE SPLIT, BUT IT IS STILL STURDY. IN AVERAGE CONDITION.
THIS LOOKS OK AS IT IS, BUT COULD EASILY BE STRIPPED OR PAINTED. PLEASE SEEK ADVICE BEFORE STRIPPING OLD PAINT AND USE THE CORRECT SAFETY EQUIPMENT. IT WOULD LOOK GREAT PAINTED IN A CONTEMPORY COLOUR TO GIVE IT A STYLISH NEW LOOK. IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT TALL FURNITURE SHOULD BE SAFELY SECURED TO THE WALL WITH SCREWS / BRACKETS FOR SAFETY.
